“Currently number 118 of 155 pending requests in Track Two” at the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Requests on track 2, the “complex” track, now average 52 business days before response. We are about 15 business days into the process. If Senator Dianne Feinstein and Congresswoman Jackie Speier were to intervene more aggressively on behalf of the FOIA — as the Irish Parliament’s Maureen O’Sullivan has done on her end in calling for the justice ministry to seek George Gibney’s extradition on criminal charges — that interval could be shortened.
