September 16, 2014Yesterday we broke the story of former Olympic swimming coach Mark Schubert’s failed motions to dismiss the whistleblower suit against him by a fired assistant, Dia Rianda, who also was a major USA Swimming financial donor. Rianda v. Schubert, whose defendants also include the Golden West Swim Club out of the community college aquatic complex in Huntington Beach, California, is headed for a jury trial.
