The real news in swimming is what no one except Concussion Inc. is talking about: the next giant tong shoes that are about to drop on the deck of the USA Swimming sexual abuse scandals, in the form of new documents upping the ante on ongoing federal investigations.

Meanwhile, the bookkeeping news proceeds; the Colorado Springs-based organization seems determined to seduce the public with evidence of its duest and newest diligence. The latest exhibit: Neil Savage, head coach at the Chattahoochee Gold club in Atlanta. He admitted earlier this year that he had had a sexual relationship with one of his high school-age swimmers.

On Friday, USA Swimming publicly announced that Savage was added to its list of banned coaches, effective September 9. This year swimming has been rolling out these cases at about one a month. By our count, the list now totals 108.
