August 6, 2013My post earlier today got it wrong. Turns out that Baltimore’s City Paper didn’t delete four of the five bullet points in my letter to the editor in this week’s issue; it deleted all five bullet points.

IV. * Jill Chasson, chair of the USA Swimming National Board of Review, which hears sexual misconduct allegations, recently resigned after I reported that, as NBAC Olympic swimmer Jill Johnson, she had had an underage relationship with her coach John Cadigan, now Bowman’s chief assistant.

NEXT: There was only one lifeguard on actual guard duty for the entire Meadowbrook Aquatic Center when 14-year-old NBAC swimmer Louis Lowenthal was pulled from the pool many minutes after he drowned on October 28, 2012. Meadowbrook filed a tardy and inaccurate report on the incident to the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
