Sports columnist Johnny Watterson has told his Twitter followers that he has a 3,000-word article on George Gibney upcoming in Saturday’s Irish Times.

Watterson also tweeted that the television and radio network RTE “have rejected an Irish Times ad for Saturday swim coach George Gibney piece because the word paedophile is used.”

Watterson added: “To be clear former Olympic coach to the Irish swimming team at LA and Seoul George Gibney is a paedophile.”
