Our representation in the Doe v. Muchnick defamation suit in federal court in Maryland is being conducted pro bono by Laurie A. Babinski and Mark Bailen of the Washington office of the BakerHostetler law firm (http://bakerlaw.com).

I was connected to Ms. Babinski and Mr. Bailen by the Arlington, Virginia-based Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press (http://www.rcfp.org), thanks to the legwork of Jack Komperda, the Ethics & Excellence in Journalism Legal Fellow; Gregg Leslie, the Legal Defense Director; and Bruce D. Brown, the Executive Director.

My deep and sincere appreciation goes out to everyone at BakerHostetler and the Reporters Committee.
