Readers of this blog probably noticed a lull in content lately. There are two main reasons for this – the first being that my book CHRIS & NANCY: The True Story of the Benoit Murder-Suicide and Pro Wrestling’s Cocktail of Death has been delivered to the publisher, ECW Press, and is in production. In the near future, and in advance of CHRIS & NANCY‘s publication later in the year, I’ll be saying a bit more about it here.
The other reason Wrestling Babylon News slowed down involves my other hat, as a writers’ rights activist and lead objector to a global class-action copyright settlement with print and electronic publishers. Both the settlement parties and we objectors have been waiting to find out whether the Supreme Court would grant a petition to hear an appeal in this case.
On Monday the justices announced that they have accepted the appeal for hearing during the upcoming fall term. The case is now known as Reed Elsevier, Inc., et al., Petitioners v. Irvin Muchnick, et al., Respondents.
