Melinda Henneberger, the Washington Post writer who has covered the Notre Dame football rape scene for National Catholic Reporter — including the seven-month investigation by the federal Department of Education’s civil rights office — weighs in on the berth of the Fighting Irish in the national championship game two years after the suicide of Lizzy Seeberg:
“Why I won’t be cheering for old Notre Dame,” http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/she-the-people/wp/2012/12/04/why-i-wont-be-cheering-for-old-notre-dame/
I wonder if Henneberger has read the sworn testimony of Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick, in a sexual abuse lawsuit against USA Swimming, that he can’t talk about what he advised his pal Chuck Wielgus, the executive director of that organization, because it is “attorney-client privileged.”
