Brad Armstrong, a very well-respected pro wrestler in the 1980s and 90s, though never a household name, has died at age 51. The quick obituary by SLAM! Wrestling is at http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2012/11/01/20323351.html.

Armstrong was one of four sons of Bob Armstrong who followed their father into wrestling. Scott, one of Brad’s brothers, is now a referee in WWE. Along with wrestler Chavo Guerrero, Scott received the final cryptic text messages from Chris Benoit in June 2007, after Benoit had murdered his wife and their son, and before he took his own life.
