My kids point out my alarming new tendency to drop decades. For example, I might start talking about the Cardinals’ win in the 1996, rather than 2006, World Series. Then there’s the mixing up of their names: Nate for Jake, or Mara for Lia. Let’s not get into who I talk about in my sleep.
