Irvin Muchnick is interviewed about his forthcoming book WRESTLING BABYLON: Piledriving Tales of Drugs, Sex, Death, and Scandal on “The Josh Kornbluth Show” later this month on San Francisco’s Public Broadcasting System affiliate, KQED-TV, Channel 9.
The show will air Monday, February 26, at 7:30 p.m., and be repeated Friday, March 2, at 2:30 a.m. This episode of “The Josh Kornbluth Show” also will be available thereafter on Comcast On Demand and KQED 191, and via podcast or streaming video at http://kqed.org/josh.
The 30-minute program is devoted to discussion of Kornbluth’s lifelong fascination with pro wrestling and to the background of WRESTLING BABYLON, Muchnick’s book about wrestling behind the scenes. The interview is broken up by a comedy segment in which the intrepid Josh trains with Daniel Puder, a San Jose pro wrestler turned mixed martial arts fighter.
