June 20, 2010Michael Verdi (“Trent Acid”), a prominent pro wrestler on the independent circuit who seemed ticketed for a major league career before drug problems derailed him, has died at 29. His grandmother found him dead.
Of course, Verdi/Acid was never a World Wrestling Entertainment “independent contractor” — so he doesn’t count.
Besides — who’s counting?
