Concussion Inc.’s Fresh Look

With upcoming publication of my sixth book, PACHINKO MAN: The Life and Meaning of Pro Wrestling Legend Rikidōzan, the crack staff at ConcussionInc.net LLP has redesigned this website. Thank you to the Site Mammoth company (https://sitemammoth.com/) for executing these changes.

The new book – scheduled to land in the second half of 2026 – is now at the top of the homepage. We’re holding space with a stock photo of Rikidōzan, alongside the wonderful advance praise by literary worthies Adam Johnson, Robert Whiting, and Scott Ostler. The book cover image and the exact publication date will be inserted as soon as we have them.

Those of you interested in reserving the first autographed copies of PACHINKO MAN can send $20 USD to paypal@muchnick.net. We’ll acknowledge your deposit and bill you for the balance when the retail price is set (it’s expected to be either $22.95 or $24.95). All direct orders of my books are for autographed copies sold at the retail price, with free shipping to U.S. addresses (for Canadian addresses, add $10 USD for shipping; for all other foreign addresses, add $20 USD for shipping).

In another site change, the links to my other five books now take you to a PayPal checkout store, so that you have that option in addition to using the paypal@muchnick.net address. There are now, additionally, links for purchase at the booksellers Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Books-A-Million.

The site no longer will be promoting my ebooks, hyper-focused topical shorts that are something like pamphlets, readable either on Kindle or as PDF files. With a few exceptions, however, they’re all still available at Amazon or by direct order. More on the ebooks – what each one is about, how you can order them, and which ones have been taken off the shelf – in a post in the near future.
