WRESTLING BABYLON St. Louis Tour Kicks Off with ‘Sports on a Sunday Morning with Ron Jacober’ on KMOX

Tuesday, June 12th, 2007

WRESTLING BABYLON author Irvin Muchnick opens his St. Louis media appearances during the week of his events in area bookstores with an interview with KMOX Radio’s Ron Jacober on “Sports on a Sunday Morning” on June 17.

The show, which airs 10 a.m. to noon, Central time, has been a programming staple of KMOX, 1120 AM – “The Voice of St. Louis” – since 1959. It streams live on the web at http://kmox.com.

Jacober, who has been broadcasting sports for 38 years, is a member of both the St. Louis Radio Hall of Fame and the St. Louis Media Hall of Fame.

WRESTLING BABYLON: Piledriving Tales of Drugs, Sex, Death, and Scandal is the country’s hottest-selling book about pro wrestling. Frank Deford says, “Irv Muchnick knows wrestling like Anna Wintour knows fashion.” John Heidenry, author of The Gashouse Gang, calls WRESTLING BABYLON “the link between closet intellectuals and closet fans.” For more information, visit http://wrestlingbabylon.com.

Muchnick will have book signings in St. Louis on Thursday, June 21 (Pro Wrestling Shirt Shop, South County Mall, 7 p.m.) and Friday, June 22 (Borders Books, Sunset Hills Plaza, 7 p.m.).
