Two former pro wrestlers performers, Evan Singleton and Vito LoGrasso, have filed a class-action lawsuit in Pennsylvania against WWE for negligence with traumatic brain injuries and other safety problems. This follows the recent similar action by Billy Jack Haynes. The complaint does not grab Patrick Hruby of Vice Sports, and I agree: “The WWE Concussion Lawsuit Is Cheap Heat,” https://sports.vice.com/article/the-wwe-concussion-lawsuit-is-cheap-heat.
Hruby says the suit reads like a fishing expedition; it needs more: more plaintiffs, more substance.
And the many conflicts and variations on the truth of Dr. Joseph Maroon, WWE’s medical director, merit more than a one-sentence toss-off.
