In light of recent developments, it is a good time for readers starting to focus on the USA Swimming national disgrace to take a look at the ebook I published in April 2012, PENN STATE IN THE POOL: The Cover-Up of the USA Swimming Youth Coach Sex Abuse Scandal.
A lot has happened in the intervening 26 months, and with the new petition by abuse victims for Congressional and prosecutorial involvement, it is useful to evaluate the news in juxtaposition with our base of knowledge back then.
I will offer all royalties from the ebook — which is just a down payment on the investigative journalism Tim Joyce and I together plan on continuing to produce — to assist the new petition drive.
Another good resource is the archive of Tim’s original articles:http://timothyjoyce.wordpress.com/.
Here is the table of contents of the ebook short:
Author’s Statement of Interest

Chapter 1. Mitch Ivey
Chapter 2. Varieties of Abuse
Chapter 3. Norm Havercroft
Chapter 4. Andy King
Chapter 5. Everett Uchiyama
Chapter 6. Disqualified
Chapter 7. “Wow. Perjury Is Still a Crime in California, Correct?”
Chapter 8. Chuck Wielgus Lies About Sick Coaches With Hidden Video Camera in Locker Rooms
