August 17, 2009Linda McMahon, Vince’s wife and the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, is exploring a run for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut now held by Christopher Dodd. The Washington Post‘s “The Fix” political blogger Chris Cillizza, reported the news, and WWE confirmed it. The company said that if Linda runs, Vince will serve as both chairman and CEO.
