Surely you’ve heard the news. Here’s how The New York Times covered it:

“N.F.L. Pressure Said to Lead ESPN to Quit Film Project,” http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/24/sports/football/nfl-pressure-said-to-prompt-espn-to-quit-film-project.html?pagewanted=2&_r=0&adxnnl=1&smid=tw-share&adxnnlx=1377261768-HK7duazRG6eGNK3C7asF%20Q

Here’s what I emailed Steve Fainaru and Mark Fainaru-Wada (no reply yet):

I have no special insights on today’s announcement. But I do have a serious hypothetical question.

Suppose that tomorrow or next week or next month, you two develop, through your sources, a story that Dr. Richard Ellenbogen and Dr. Hunt Batjer are being blackmailed by Dr. Elliot Pellman over an HGH deal gone bad, and as a result, NFL concussion policy is being altered and pertinent data are being covered up.

Who gets the story? ESPN? PBS?
