In response to an inquiry by our Tim Joyce, Jill Chasson, chair of USA Swimming’s National Board of Review, said, “I can confirm that I would recuse myself from any involvement in an NBR proceeding involving Mr. Winslow.”

This follows Concussion Inc.’s report this morning that prosecutors in Maricopa County, Arizona, are poised to file criminal charges against University of Utah coach Greg Winslow on allegations that he molested a swimmer he was coaching at Sun Devils Aquatics on the Arizona State University campus, beginning when she was 15. Utah has suspended Winslow.

Our article points out that Jill Chasson’s husband Mike Chasson owns Sun Devils Aquatics.
