Dam of Silence Is Breaking for North Baltimore Aquatic Club Parents

This is an email I just received:

I heard about your site and read all the postings about NBAC. I have two children in the club and I can tell you that nobody knows this is even going on. We received a brief message about the sexual molestation accusations months ago, but it did not identify the coach. It was easy to deduce. I am concerned that I have two kids swimming in different groups and don’t know who the teenage perpetrators are.

Regarding Louis, it is an unthinkable tragedy, but the parents don’t seem to be placing any blame on the club so I think others are afraid to as well. Bob had made it clear that if you complain about the club you’re out. I was always worried that that pool was unsupervised.

This is all very disturbing.

Please do not identify me on your website. I do not want my children to suffer the consequences of my statements.
