Here’s how The Post‘s Amy Shipley, who broke the story last week, covers the continuance in USA Swimming’s Rick Curl matter:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/olympics/rick-curl-accepts-provisional-suspension-from-usa-swimming/2012/08/01/gJQALk0KQX_story.html

Shipley also quotes a USA Swimming spokesperson as saying Noah Rucker, a coach on the staff at the Curl-Burke Swim Club (which is rebranding itself as “CUBU,” even though Curl supposedly has not admitted guilt in the Kelley Davies-Currin case), was suspended recently in another “emergency” hearing. The article doesn’t specify, but the implication would be a permanent suspension, or lifetime ban. I guess we should be looking at the USA Swimming website for updates of its banned list.
