Yesterday’s newscasts on WPIX, Channel 11, in New York, covering Congressman Chris Smith’s press conference demanding answers for the late Braeden Bradforth’s football conditioning death last August at Garden City Community College in Kansas, did a good job. The report streams athttps://pix11.com/2019/04/05/nj-mom-wants-answers-over-football-player-sons-death-after-practice/.

ABC7 News in New York served up a dud. The piece there failed to highlight the intervention and persistence of Congressman Smith, and indeed barely mentioned him — instead focusing on grieving mother Joanne Atkins-Ingram “breaking her silence.” What? Atkins-Ingram has been speaking out for more than half a year.

ESPN,Sports Illustrated, and so many others remain missing in action.
