Growing attention to sexual abuse scandals at USA Swimming in the wake of the Larry Nassar / USA Gymnastics story was the subject of my interview this morning with Marc Daniels on “The Beat of Sports” on 96.9 The Game in Orlando. The audio is below.
This follows publication by theOrange County Registerof an article headlined “100s of USA swimmers were sexually abused for decades and the people in charge knew and ignored it, investigation finds.” The piece by Scott Reid is obviously valuable; the social media hype of it as an “exclusive” is laughable, given that almost everything there has been reported at this site, in spades, for the last six years.
