“Secrecy fight over sports coach in abuse case” — Times of London, Irish edition

“US officials are fighting an order to release documents that reveal how George Gibney was granted a green card despite his alleged sexual abuse of several children while he was Ireland’s national swimming coach.

A San Francisco court ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release all documents relating to Mr Gibney’s visa in December, after a request by Irvin Muchnick, an US investigative journalist in the United States. The order was sent this week to a higher court for appeal.”
