The new set of George Gibney immigration documents that were released this week in Concussion Inc.’s Freedom of Information Act case in federal court will be the subject of an article in the next Sunday Times of London by Justine McCarthy, who has been covering the story for 20 years and authored the book Deep Deception: Ireland’s Swimming Scandals.

Last SundayIrish Independent columnist Donal Lynch, in a piece mostly about another notorious sex-abusing swimming coach, Ger Doyle (who was actually imprisoned for his crimes), quoted a source closer to the current Irish police Gibney investigation as saying that another of Gibney’s victims is hoped to be coming forward in the near future.
