According to [Argentino family] attorney [Richard] Cushing, McMahon made a remark at one point in their discussions that was at once insightful and chilling. “Look, I’m in the garbage business,” the promoter said. “If you think I’m going to be hurt by the revelation that one of my wrestlers is really a violent individual, you’re mistaken.”

The above passage is from Irvin Muchnick’s 1992 story on the Jimmy Snuka-Nancy Argentino murder mystery, which was commissioned but never published by New York’s Village Voice. The article was first published online several years later, and then became a chapter of the 2007 book WRESTLING BABYLON: Piledriving Tales of Drugs, Sex, Death, and Scandal.

The 2013 ebook, JUSTICE DENIED: The Untold Story of Nancy Argentino’s Death in Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka’s Motel Room, annotates the original article and benefits a women’s shelter in Nancy’s memory. You can order the ebook for $2.99 on Amazon Kindle (http://amzn.com/B00CPTP6VM) or a PDF copy by email (send $2.99 via PayPal to [email protected]). One hundred percent of the proceeds are donated by the Argentino family, in Nancy’s memory, to the women’s shelter in development at the Salerno, Italy, church Centro Evangelical dei Fratelli.
