I’m especially interested in Tim Murphy, an ASCA director who is also the Ulen-Brooks Endowed Coach for Men’s Swimming and Diving at Harvard University.<\/p>\n

Mr. Murphy: What do the Egan family and Harvard University say about your high-visibility position with an organization deeply implicated in the decades-long cover-up of age-group coach sex abuse?<\/p>\n

Also, sir: What do you<\/em> say to the question of why ASCA does not publish its own list of banned coaches? Do you agree with executive director John Leonard’s statement that ASCA has nothing to do with children?<\/p>\n

Finally, Coach Murphy: Since I think it’s fair to infer that Harvard swimmer David Berkoff might have been among the many coaches and athletes with significant knowledge of former ASCA Coach of the Year and former ASCA president Rick Curl’s molesting of his underage swimmer Kelley Davies in the 1980s, I think it’s also fair to ask what you, yourself, have known about Curl’s sex crimes and when you knew it.<\/p>\n
