Below is most of the letter I just received from Earl H. Blansfield, freedom of information coordinator at the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Child Health and Human Development in Bethesda, Maryland. Earlier, Blansfield had clarified for me that we are talking about a single grant application plus annual progress reports. NIH has given my request the case number 39418.<\/p>\n

You requested a copy of grant applications 5R01HD042386-02, -03, -04, and -05 (amended to include year 01), “FMRI and Sports-Related Concussion,” awarded to Dr. Mark Lovell by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver <\/em>National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).<\/strong><\/p>\n We will send you all material consistent with the exemptions recognized by the FOIA.
