At <\/span>http:\/\/muchnick.net\/UCPDagunarrative.pdf<\/span><\/a>, Concussion Inc. has uploaded the February 7, 2014, incident report narrative by Officer Stephanie Martinez of the Berkeley campus police, which isolates the stricken Cal football player Ted Agu’s “pre-existing medical condition.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether this document ever reached the Alameda County sheriff’s office, which was collecting information to support the coroner’s autopsy on Agu, is unknown. I’d say it’s doubtful. Our reporting from 2016 — based on the deposition of the sheriff’s officer tasked with gathering documents from the Berkeley campus police — established that the university forwarded only 29 of the 141 pages we now identify as “the binder” of secret campus police documents surrounding the Agu death.<\/span><\/p>\n

And yesterday brought another piece of evidence that may not have been seen by the sheriff’s office and its medical examiner division prior to Dr. Thomas Beaver’s erroneous finding that Agu had died of simple heart failure. From a campus source, we have a brand newly surfaced document from 2\/7\/14. It is a Berkeley Fire Department record — the Emergency Medical Services response to the 911 call for Agu — and it would appear not to be part of the disputed 141-page binder; at the very least, it does not intuitively correspond to any of the chapter headings in the binder table of contents, whose text we previously obtained and published.<\/span><\/p>\n

The EMS report goes beyond the cop’s note that Agu had a pre-existing medical condition. Indeed, the Fire Department couldn’t have been more clear or specific. In all caps, the document says:<\/span><\/p>\n
