* Watterson’s tweet yesterday regarding the RTE network’s rejection of an ad promoting the Irish Times<\/em> piece because it characterizes Gibney as a pedophile (in the spelling of American judge Charles R. Breyer) or a paedophile (in the Irish spelling).<\/p>\n

* The mysterious juxtaposition of Gibney’s mysterious 1992 U.S. visa, his 1993 indictment in Ireland, and the controversial 1994 Irish Supreme Court’s quashing of the 27 counts against him.<\/p>\n

* The 1998 Murphy Commission report finding: “In light of the charges arising from the Garda investigation the complainants were vindicated.”<\/p>\n

* Our exchange this week with Don Heidary, the board president of the American Swimming Coaches Association, which is strongly suspected, in Judge Breyer’s words, of having “greased the wheels for Gibney’s relocation.”<\/p>\n
