And One More Thing on the Hutchison-Kukors Affair and Olympic Coach Mark Schubert, the Spy Who Hated Me

Sean Hutchison was cleared by the USA Swimming investigation of his relationship with his FAST swimmer Ariana Kukors, and resigned on who knows what terms, for good reason. In sleeping with an athlete under his supervision, especially after she achieved majority age, Hutchison was doing nothing illegal and, further, nothing that many others in the sport weren’t already doing and continuing to do to this day.

And USA Swimming officials — especially Pat Hogan, the managing director of club development — damn well knew it.
