Last night Fox5 News in Atlanta reported that steroids, human growth hormone, and syringes were found in the attic of an area home formerly owned by an as-yet-unnamed World Wrestling Entertainment performer.

This developing story is yet another sign that the Atlanta area was in the days of Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, and remains today, a center of the wrestler-drug scene. The federal case against Dr. Phil Astin was another sign. All this plays into the background of the double murder/suicide of Chris Benoit, an Astin client. Stay tuned.
