In response to readers who have asked about the status of the federal government’s appeal of U.S. District Court Judge Charles R. Breyer’s ruling in our favor last year in Concussion Inc.’s lawsuit, under the Freedom of Information Act, for additional records from the immigration file of disgraced 1988 Irish Olympic swim coach George Gibney:

The case remains in the mediation process at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
