May 15, 2017Counsel for the University of California Office of the President and Concussion Inc.’s attorney Roy S. Gordet this week jointly asked the Alameda County Superior Court for an extension of the deadline for the filing of the university’s brief in response to our Public Records Act complaint asking for production of additional internal documents relating to the 2014 death of UC Berkeley football player Ted Agu.
The stipulation states that “the Parties have conferred and believe there are grounds for exploring an amicable settlement, and therefore, in addition to a continuance of the Case Management Conference, also desire to extend the deadline for The Regents to respond to the Petition for 90 days, to August 10, 2017.”
