The base salary of Damon Harrington — the Cal Bears head football strength and conditioning coach whose controversial and extreme methods are alleged to have contributed to the 2014 death of player Ted Agu — has a base salary of $150,000. Last year he also collected an $8,000 bonus for the team’s appearance in a bowl game.

These figures are seen in Harrington’s contract, a copy of which was obtained by Concussion Inc. via a California Public Records Act request to the University of California-Berkeley chancellor’s office.

Harrington’s contract is viewable at http://muchnick.net/harringtoncontract.pdf.
