Concussion Inc. today received the response of the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to our February request, under the Freedom of Information Act, for copies of the visa and green card records of George Gibney.
The response is a blanket rejection of the request under various privacy provisions. A two-page cover letter explains the decision and notes that I have 60 days in which to file an appeal, which is all but certain.
There is only one new thing we know so far as a result of this exercise: the government’s Gibney immigration records total 102 pages.
